Silver Bullet Shorthairs started in 2003 with the purchase of our first German Shorthaired Pointer named Trego. We are a young famlily located in Delaware, Ohio and with two small girls Ava and Madeline we wanted a dog that could please us around the house and be part of our active lives. She was bought primarily as a family companion and has evolved into our desire to produce top rate shorthairs with a focus on companionship, hunting, and correct conformation. 

CH Never Complain Regardless (Trego) is our first dog and we have enjoyed trying several different types of activities with her, and have found upland hunting to be the most enjoyable for us and her.  These different activities including agility, showing, and hunting have proven the versatile nature of this dog and breed.  German Shorthairs love to be active and thrive when they have a job.  If you are looking for a family companion that will be great in the house, eye catching, and a joy to hunt over then get in contact with us. We have recently added Silver Bullet's Top Gun Stella (Stella) to our family.  Our hope is to continue our breeding program with this fine female.
